The International Translation Company (ITC) provides an Interpreter Training Program which is a 60 hour, 9 week training course that enables enrollees to become competent interpreters. Courses are taught by well recognized instructors with years of experience in their respective fields. Role-play, language practice and instruction are provided by experienced interpreters who are native speakers of the target language.

In addition to focusing on their specific area of study, all courses include: Interpreter Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice Interpreter roles and skills Note-taking and memory exercises Role Play

Business Terminology Interpreting in business settings	The role of community interpreters Interpreting in the education sector Interpreting for Housing Authorities Interpreting for the Department of Children and Families
LEGAL	MEDICAL
Legal Terminology Interpreting in a legal setting, such as, for attorneys, depositions, and court hearings	Medical Terminology Physiology & Anatomy Interpreting in a medical setting

Requirements for Enrollment:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Bilingual in English and target language
Pass the oral entrance exam

Upon completion of the course, enrollees receive a certificate showing proof of completion.
